Some of the differences between common antiseptics and Microdacyn are as follows –
Ingredients: Electrolysed Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Hypochlorous Acid.
Directions: For Chronic wounds & burns like ulcerations & pressure injuries
1) Apply Microdacyn Solution directly into the wounded area until all debris is removed
2) Soak a piece of gauze or bandage and apply this to the wounded area for 10 minutes, apply more solution if it begins to dry out. The additional soaking, ensures stubborn germs are removed. It will also help hydrate any additional debris that needs to be removed.
For first aid & acute wounds like cuts grazes and abrasions
1) Apply Microdacyn Solution directly into the wounded area until all debris is removed. Do not remove any excess solution.
2) Cover the wound with your dressing of choice & reapply Microdacyn wound care solution every time you change your wound dressing
3) The wound care solution can also be used to wet the dressing every time you need to remove it/change it.
